What is the Beat Social™?
Beat Social™ is a safe space for artists to meet up and network. It’s a monthly open aux and community event for producers, vocalists, artists and beatmakers.
However, you can attend Beat Social™ without performing, with most of the crowd attending the Beat Social™ each month to listen and meet new people.
If you want to play music, bring finished tracks on either a laptop or music hardware device. Bring any cables or connectors you may need. You can book your slot at the ticket booth. Each slot is first come, first served.
If you just want to listen, meet people or see what the event is like, that’s fine too. Beat Social™ is open to people at different stages and interest levels, from first-time visitors to artists already active in the scene and looking to network.

Who is the Beat Social™ for?
Beat Social™ is for beatmakers, producers, artists, vocalists, videographers, music fans and anyone interested in underground music culture.

If you love internet/digital music culture and hearing the newest music in the UK underground scene, this event is for you as well. You do not need to be established to attend. You do not need a big following. You do not even need to make music. Some people come to play new music. Some come to listen. Some come to meet collaborators or get a feel for the scene.

What happens at a Beat Social™ event?
A typical Beat Social™ event includes open aux slots, music, networking and time to meet other creatives.
The format is simple: people come together, hear new work, talk, connect and share ideas. Some events include short slots for producers or artists to play music. Some include drawing, photography or second-hand clothing stalls. Others are more focused on the room, the people and the atmosphere.
The point is not just performance. It is giving producers, artists and fans a place to connect in real life, outside of feeds, DMs and algorithms.
Why does the Beat Social™ exist?
Beat Social™ exists to bring different creative and cultural communities into the same room.
It creates space for producers, artists, vocalists, filmmakers, photographers, designers and music fans to connect across backgrounds and disciplines. The aim is simple: to help people hear, see and understand the value in each other’s work.
More than a music event, Beat Social™ is a meeting point for creative exchange. We take pride in curating a place where skill, taste and ideas can move between scenes, mediums and people.
