DRGNFLY - Mt Yari

Mt Yari is the first release from Bristol-based beatmaker DRGNFLY. Inspired by Wun Two's Pirata album, Mt. Yari is a story based on the famous mountain in Japan of the same name, with track titles chosen from the aesthetic of the mountain itself. ''The aim of the project is not just to release music but also show the journey... the struggles and discoveries..."

The story of the album begins as you approach Mt Yari's famous view from the base of the valley. It details viewing The Way Up, the Blanket of White snow surrounding the summit, the ridges and rockfaces around it. But most importantly the mental journey of approaching a monumental task.
